Cantaloupe Drink

A refreshing melon drink, perfect for summer!

Ingredients

  • 1 very ripe cantaloupe
  • 2 quarts water or whatever will fit into your pitcher
  • 1/2 cup sugar or to taste

Special tools

  • Melon Grater or Food Processor with a Grater Attachment
  • Large Pitcher

Instructions

  1. Cut cantaloupe in half and de-seed. If using a melon scraper, fully scrape both sides.
  2. If using a food processor, cut melons into spears and remove the rind. Grate the melon using the food processor.
  3. Add the grated melon and any extra juice into the pitcher.
  4. Add water and taste to determine how much sugar to add
  5. Start adding 1/4 cup of sugar and add more sugar to your taste.
  6. Chill and serve

When picking a cantaloupe, choose the one with the strongest scent.
