Solana had an end-of-season party for one of her v Solana had an end-of-season party for one of her volleyball teams. Thom volunteered me to make custom sugar cookies for the team. @pointbreakvbc has the best-looking uniforms out of all the teams we played so I wanted to show that off. Although I wanted to make the black version, I think the girls preferred the white and teal jerseys. So that's what they got!

I had a busy day yesterday with her last tournament then playing music at Mass. After a quick nap I managed to make these into the late night. Considering how tired I was, they turned out better than I expected, especially getting the gradient on the jersey.

My first potato harvest! These came from 4 Yukon g My first potato harvest! These came from 4 Yukon gold potatoes that I didn't use for Thanksgiving dinner. I planted them in January after I ignored their existence for a month. Then it rained a ton. Now I have this plus a bunch more from our neighbor.

I heard there'd be a negative low tide today so I I heard there'd be a negative low tide today so I took the two girls out just north of Scripps Pier to see the tide pools. It was about a mile walk north from La Jolla Shores parking but totally worth it!

There was a great variety of sea creatures and we even heard that some people found an octopus!
